There is nothing better than gathering with your friends, colleagues and loved ones to celebrate a special occasion.

The most important aspect of event planning is choosing the right venue where your guests will be comfortable and you can easily access all the extras you may need to create a truly enjoyable experience. The Glencoe Agricultural Society takes great pride in owning the largest community gathering facility in Southwest Middlesex. There is nothing that brings us more joy than seeing neighbours – young and young-at-heart – coming together to work, play and celebrate alongside one another.

Glencoe Event Spaces

We offer two unique event venue spaces that are perfect for intimate gatherings all the way through to large-scale weddings and conferences. Whether you want to welcome 20 of your closest friends and family members for a baby shower or you are hoping to host a stag and doe with everyone you know, you can put our flexible event spaces to great use. Best of all, you can choose from an entirely indoor space for the winter months or enjoy the great outdoors when the Canadian sunshine comes out!

To ensure guests of all abilities can celebrate alongside you, both buildings have accessible entrances. The location of the Glencoe Agricultural Society event spaces is at 268 Currie Street. The nearest cross streets are North Street, Mill Street and Currie Street.

Ag Hall

The main community hall is also known as the “Ag Hall” which adjoins with the curling arena. The Ag hall can host up to 300 people, with the added bonus of a large stage for entertainment or auction items. This space comes equipped with tables, chairs and air conditioning to keep you and your guests comfortable all year round.

Curling Arena Building

If you want something different than the traditional event hall layout or just need more space, you can plan your event within the Curling Arena Building from May through to October. During this time, you can welcome up to 700 guests, so this space is ideal for large community functions, such as fundraisers; car shows; or regional conferences. Like the Ag Hall, this event venue boasts a large stage and includes the use of tables and chairs

Flexibility, space & a downhome community feel

Beyond just the incredible size of our event spaces, they come with a wide range of added perks that make throwing the perfect event as easy as can be.

When you book your event through the Glencoe Agricultural Society, we can set you up with bartenders for either space. We can also give you access to our kitchen, coolers, signage and additional breakout rooms where you can store items or prep for that big speech you are about to deliver.
